Everyone was very friendly and kind. I really liked Dr. Thomas. He explained everything so I could understand and he talked to my daughter on the phone to explain what was going on with me also. I highly recommend Athens Spine and Dr. Thomas.

I can only hope that Dr Daniel Thomas can help you out like he does with me. He has patience, and he is thorough with explaining things such as radiology and imaging as well as guide you through injections as well. Somehow he can sense the pain levels when I can’t really explain it. The staff that is working with Athens Spine is personal, friendly, and efficient. I would highly recommend him and Athens Spine to anyone who needs their back pain managed for!

The staff members at the check-in desk and in the exam area were friendly and courteous. The wait time was good. They always take the time to explain the situation and answer any questions. I would/ have recommended Dr. Thomas to my friends and family.

Went in 08 3 2023 for evaluation on previous shot to my lower back. Had light pain from original shat 2 months ago. Back pain has been none since 07 01 2023.

I saw Dr. McCurdy on 7/26/2023 for a Sphenoid Block. This is a delicate procedure and I know of no other doctor in Athens that does them. He researched until he found this miracle help for my chronic headache (24-7). My Nurse Tech was Andrea and she gets an A++ rating for taking care of all the pre-procedure items/necessities. She did this while listening to my other concerns but was ready to brief Dr. McCurdy when he came in. She had me on procedure table in proper position while the doctor looked over my information and questioned me about items we had discussed prior to his arrival in the room. As always, he was extremely efficient and brought his #1 professionalism into the room. He did the procedure quickly but gently and asked if I had any concerns. He emphasized that I needed to contact his office immediately if I needed them for any reason. The MAN is amazing at his compassionate bedside manner and knowing what he is doing. I have even felt better as of this morning as of 7:30 and do appreciate Dr. McCurdy and Tech Andrea for a perfect experience with a not so fun procedure. They were awesome. I am glad to be an established patient with Athens Spine Center and especially Dr. McCurdy.
