I've been a patient of the Athens Spine Center since 2008 and Dr Megdal was my pain management physician prior to Dr McCurdy. However, as much as I revered Dr Megdal, my experience with Dr McCurdy, as my pain management physician, has also been exceptional. He's always seemed such a genuinely compassionate physician... with truly excellent fine motor skills. I am grateful to be his patient.

Dr. McCurdy was empathetic, explained possible reasons for continued pain and set up alternative option to try. He was very knowledgeable about the possible problems and explained all options in a way I could understand.

Front office reception staff are always very welcoming and check in is always
very fast and friendly. I am always called back within a few minutes. The nurses who I see for vitals always ask if I have any questions or concerns that I would like addressed during my visit and relays any I may have to Dr. McCurdy or any other staff I see makes sure any questions I have are answered prior to ending the visit and personally escorts me to check out. I always leave feeling important to them. Athens Spine Center is the best!

Dr Thomas is a great doctor he will sit down and talk to you about what was going on with you and just don't leave you wondering so I recommend his service with you guys and everyone in the office is so friendly they get their job done if you call for anything
